Once upon a time - not so very long ago....
On a remote Zimbabwean farm in the heart of the African savanna, Carol Gordon's creativity and drive saw the establishment in 1990 of her highly successful Gordonsbury Company, producing hand-embroidered linen for the The Gordonsbury Collection of fine nursery linens.
Drawing on the latent talent of many Shona women, Carol astutely directed her energies and foresight into designing and producing an exquisite pure cotton range of hand-embroidered linen, the Gordonsbury Collection.. Each Gordonsbury piece bears the unmistakable detail of one of Carol's universally inspired designs,carefully and beautifully embroidered by hand by a highly skilled craftswoman.
