Most commercial laundry powders and liquid detergents can be safely used.  Detergents containing Optical Brightening Agents may cause colors to alter slightly and will detract from the normal appearance.  Bleach must not be used as it can degrade and weaken colors.

Hand wash separately using a mild detergent Do not wring or twist
Squeeze out excess water thoroughly Allow ample air/line drying time
