INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold the napkin in half to make a rectangle.

2. Starting from one of the narrow ends, fold half the napkin into one inch accordion pleats.

3. Fold in half lengthwise, with the pleats on the outside and the open edge of the napkin at the top.

4. Fold the unpleated portion of the napkin diagonally to prevent the pleats at the top of the fan opening up.  Stand the napkin up and spread the pleats, forming a fan.
